Naso: una bella torba fruttata da subito, frutta gialla non troppo matura, banane, limoni, albicocche. Poi marmellate varie, la torba sa di tabacco da pipa ed è anche vegetale, stile fiori di campo ed amaro nazionale. Col tempo scende la torba in favore del vegetale e della frutta.
Gusto: imbocco molto fresco, partono poche spezie sulla punta della lingua, tra cui pepe bianco e cannella, poi la torba prende il sopravvento sulle papille gustative e ci dona qualche sensazione fruttata, di frutta gialla, ma è ben poca cosa. Si scalda con il tempo, liquirizia e pepe nero.
Finale: liquirizia, torba vegetale, limone e minerale.
Commento: un torbato di tutto rispetto, anche se la torba è lontana anni luce da Islay. Qui siamo su territori più vegetali e fruttati, quasi minerali. Splendida la liquirizia che fa capolino ogni tanto.

Nose: a nice fruity peat immediately, not too riped yellow fruit, bananas, lemons, apricots. Then jams, peat smells of pipe tobacco and is also vegetable, like wildflowers and bitter italian. With time peat goes in favor of vegetable and fruit.
Mouth: very fresh mouth, starts with few spices on the tip of the tongue, including white pepper and cinnamon, then the peat takes over on the taste buds and gives us some feeling fruity, yellow fruit, but it is very little. It warms up with time, licorice and black pepper.
Finish: liquorice, peat, lemon and mineral.
Overall: a peaty respectable, even if the peat is light years away from Islay. Here we are on the territories more vegetables and fruity, almost mineral. Wonderful licorice peeping occasionally.
