Naso: due anime, una più fumosa e l’altra più fruttata. Si sente una certa influenza dello sherry, uno sherry pungente e medicinale, nonchè affumicato. Note di crema alla frutta, limone e mela rossa, poi tanta vaniglia e caramello. L’affumicato si pronuncia dopo qualche tempo, insieme a qualche spezia, ad esempio pepe bianco.
Gusto: imbocco caldo e delicato, i 43 gradi si sentono ma in maniera positiva. Abbiamo qualche spezia sulla punta della lingua, pepe bianco, poi il contesto è piuttosto dolce: mela rossa, pera al forno, vaniglia, caramello. Una puntina fumosa e pepata dopo un po’, ma è poca cosa. Vince lo sherry sicuramente.
Finale: legno dolce e spezie del legno, frutta rossa, vaniglia e caramello.
Commento: dolce e ruffiano come pochi, è sicuramente meglio di tanti single malt (anche tra i più venduti…). Lo voglio premiare con un bel voto onesto e spero di assaggiare gli esemplari più anziani. Pericolosamente beverino.

Nose: two souls, one more smoky and one more fruity. You can feel a certain influence of sherry, sherry pungent and medicinal, as well as smoked. Mouth: warm and delicate mouth, you can feel the 43 degrees but in a positive way. We have some spice on the tongue, white pepper, then the context is pretty sweet: red apple, baked pear, vanilla, caramel. A pinch of pepper and smoky after a while, but it is a small thing. Sherry definitely wins.
Finish: soft wood and wood spices, red fruit, vanilla and caramel.
Overall: sweet, crawler like few others, it is certainly better than many single malt (also best sellers…). I want to reward him with a good mark honest and I hope to sample specimens older. Dangerously drinkable.
